Sat Jinda Kalyana PG College, Kalanaur, lies in the western part of Rohtak district in Haryana on the Rohtak Bhiwani road at a distance of twenty two kilometers from Rohtak. The college is not situated in Kalanaur proper but lies on an intersection on the highway at a distance of three kilometers from Kalanaur town.
This is the oldest institution of higher education between Rohtak and Bhiwani. Today Kalanaur cannot be imagined without S.J.K college for it has become a part of the history and culture of this area, of the lives of the people.
Read moreIn welcoming you, I bring with me 50 years of celebrated history of this institution. During the course of past 50 years of existence, we have much to be proud of and more is to be accomplished in future. In these five decades, the college has overcome every obstacle and challenge to become a brand in itself. Our college has earned a great reputation in imparting value based education in Humanities, Commerce and Science. With the blessings and under the auspicious patronage of Mahant Khushhal Dass ji Maharaj, we hope to achieve more milestones in the future. Thanks to the unwavering support from the Governing Body of college, helmed by the President, Sh Shadi Lal Batra Ji (Ex-M.P.), we have been able to revive ourselves from the unprecedented misfortune that befell in the year 2016 (during the Agitation for Jat Reservation). And with their constant support, we are hopeful to complete more infrastructural projects in future. Our college has highly qualified teachers who are professionally competent and committed to their vocation. The teaching faculty keeps themselves updated by participating in a number of Faculty Development Programmes. All our educational endeavours aim at helping the students to be intellectually competent, morally upright, spiritually mature, socially responsible and environmentally conscious beings. Keeping in mind the essence of college's motto, ‘Vidya-Vivek-Vikas’ the college provides a congenial environment to students for acquiring ‘knowledge’, ignite a ‘sense of discernment of right and wrong’ and thereby lead them to the path of ‘development.’ Our college provides an inclusive environment where equal opportunity is provided to all the students irrespective of their gender, caste, financial or social background. Students in our college are offered numerous opportunities to enhance their skills and talent. We have wide spectrum of cells and clubs in which activities are organized to sensitize the students towards playing active role in social and environmental causes. Although our college is situated in the rural heart land in Haryana, yet our students have left their mark not only in the field of sports by bagging national level positions but they have also excelled in the field of academics by getting University merit positions. With the motto of ‘Discipline and Unity’ a boys’ unit and a girls’ unit of NCC are functioning in college under the aegis of 11 Haryana Battalion Bhiwani. A platoon of fifty four cadets is sanctioned for our college. Apart from routine drill and firing training various social activities like awareness rallies, blood donation camps, games, cultural programmes for national integration etc. are under taken by NCC cadets.

Aiming at personality development through community service, two NSS units (One Boys’ and One Girls’) are functioning in the college under the directions of M.D. University, Rohtak /State Government. Each unit has hundred students. Various activities like awareness rallies/drives, extension lectures, training (self defense, traffic rules, yoga, first-aid), blood donation camp, oath taking ceremonies are carried out by these units.

The Youth Red Cross Society of the college aims to spread awareness about Red Cross Principles and its activities among the youth. It enrolls 50 volunteers every year. The volunteers need to possess humanitarian values and they are encouraged to serve humanity. It organizes blood donation camps and health check-ups and awareness programmes about AIDS on a regular basis

With the aim of overall development of students the college provides ample space for indoor and outdoor games. A large and extensive playground with facilities for playing cricket, volleyball, basket ball is provided for all sports inclined students. Excellent equipments for the same are also available. Facility for indoor games is also provided. Various equipments are available to the students in the gym of the college.

Every year Foundation day of college is celebrated on 29 th of January with chanting of religious mantras and performing hawan. The occasion is graced by the members of college managing committee, the staff of S.J.K institutions and students.

Dear Alumni, Its a matter of great pleasure that Alumni Cell of S.J.K. (PG) College is organising Alumni Meet, Milan 2024 on 20th April, 2024 at 11.30 a.m. So all are cordially invited. Please grace the occasion with your benign presence.
This cell provides assistance to students by helping them to overcome problems in different matters like personal, educational, vocational and family matters.
The Legal Literacy Cell of the college organizes various activities with the objective of spreading Legal Literacy for the betterment of students. The students are informed about the various rights and duties of citizens and to identify the problems of their fellow citizens in the neighborhood.
At S.J.K.College, we have established a Road Safety Club with a view to inculcate good road user behaviour. Various programs relevant to road safety promotion are organized from time to time.
The club aims to educate voters about their right to vote. The club organizes awareness rallies to sensitize the people about the importance of vote and urge the voters to participate.
For the overall development of the students and to give them an opportunity for the exposure of the different social, economic, cultural development of the country, educational tours are organized every year under the guidance of senior teachers.
Time to time extension lectures are organized by various departments to make the students aware of the outer world and update them
The college has initiated and runs a social welfare programme under the scheme of University Outreach Programme and for this Anwal village has been adopted
At S.J.K College, we organize parent teachers meet on a regular basis. Such meets serve as a platform for the parents to discuss with the teachers about needs and requirements of their wards and also to explore ways to work on their holistic development.
The cell is functioning actively to create awareness about the rights of women and help them in becoming mentally, physically and psychologically strong through its various activities like extension lectures, declamation contests, poetic recitation competitions etc.
